Everybody is feeling a little better today. Layla tried on her first pair of shoes and did some dancing with Shelley (see video). The days go by a little slow but we are getting closer and closer to being home. Layla and I have started playing a game I will call tilt the head. She tilts her head and then I do the same and we both laugh.
We have met some great people with our travel group. This is a a picture of us at dinner tonight.

Good morning. I want you to know that every morning before I get out of bed I check on you and pray for any specifics you request. When I heard you and layla had a new game I was a little worried justin since I've experienced some of your crazy games. I love "tilt the head". And I love how you continue to just meet her where she's at. While we were in Ukraine Anastasia was such a mamas girl. Boy has that changed. She ca t get e enough of her daddy now. You are both amazing parents and I am thankful that God chose you to rescue layla.
I love the videos....the sound of Layla's sweet voice and laugh are priceless! Shelley, glad you are feeling better. Both of you are doing an awesome job!
Hope you guys had a great Christmas! Layla is adorable on the videos, and you are doing a great job being patient as she gets more comfortable engaging with you. We are praying for you, and are SO looking forward to meeting your baby girl.
i love the videos and it is so clear that Layla is right at home with you as her parents. the joy that Shelly feels is so clear as she cheers on your little girl. We can't wait for your updates each day, and look forward to cheering you on when you get home.
