Support from family and friends

We just can't believe how we are being supported by our family and friends. Below are just a few of the ways we've received love:

Our friends, Kerry Shooner and Kathi Stevens, through a baby shower for Shelley.

Six different families (Flinns, Bauschers, Shooners, Stevens, Creamers, & Wolfenbergs)have offered to take Henry for a couple of days each while we are gone! What a relief to know that Henry will be well taken care of in our absence.

Paul Owens will be picking us up at 7:15 Tuesday morning, taking us to the airport, and then dropping Henry off at his daycare.

The Crossroads 0-18 staff took time out of their day to listen to us tell about our journey and to pray for us. I can't tell you how awesome this was! Somehow these people knew exactly how to pray for us. They also got together and gave us several gifts for the trip.

Our small group (Nadermanns, Reynas, Stevens, and Shooners) got together at 8:30 in the morning on a Saturday to see us one last time before we left and to pray for us. Again, knowing that people are praying for us is incredibly encouraging.

Several families have given us or loaned us financial resources to help make this journey possible.

We can't thank everyone enough!

Yea!! I am so excited for you. I just caught up on all of your blog posts (thanks Justin for giving me the address) and I have butterflies in my stomach for you. The feelings are all coming back to me of how I felt right before I left, of the nevousness of leaving small kids behind, the excitement of about to meet my daughter. Oh, I am going to be reliving it thru you guys are your blog.

I will be praying for you every day. Layla is gorgeous and I can't wait to see her running around in KC.

And woo hoo on the 2008 finalization date. We were hoping for that, but we left on Jan. 3 when we adopted Zoe...missed it by a couple of weeks. Have fun during your site seeing in Beijing...those first few days kind of felt like a 2nd honeymoon to Jim and I. It was priceless to get to be in China for a few days alone, without any kids. We had so much fun there.

Ok, sorry for the long post. Savor every minute!

Hello Wolfenbergs!! Small group here at the Naderman's. We just finished a wonderful chili dinner (sans onions for me!) and were enjoying the updates on the blog. Shooners were filling everyone in on how Henry is doing - he got to go the the Museum Center today and it sounds like the boys all had a good time. We have been counting down the days to the sleepover with Carter and he seems excited for his first slumber party. I know you guys have to be dying to hurry up and connect with Layla. We are all thinking of you here and your presence is missed. We can't wait to see the next update. Take care and we'll see you soon.
